I’ve just backported Amarok 1.4.7 from cooker to Mandriva 2007.1 (aka “Spring” edition).
Packages are downloadable from my RPM repository for i586 and x86_64 architecture and both build support SQLite, MySQL and Postgresql as database backend.

Hello:
I am running Mandriva 2007.1 which contains
libgg.so.1, a later version thanlibgg.so.0that your Amarok packages require. Could you build versions withlibgg.so.1?Cheers,
Steve
Hello Kevin. Do you know where can i find a newer build of Amarok with mysql support? I need a newer build, against libgpod 0.6 in order to be able to use my new 3th generation-iPod nano.
Thanks in advance.
Hello , I agree that it makes sense to update the repository with libgpod v0.6 i.e libgpod.so.3 and have amarok built against that … the libgpod.spec file only needs minor molding .. you need to add three lines to the files section (below) and change the major number to 3

Won’t install for me: old story of dependency hell. More help would be appreciated.
