During the first (cold) hours of 2010, I’ve done some light painting compositions with a friend. Discovering he was into this stuff and having my DSLR at hand, we decided to improvise a little session of long exposure shots. Here is a sample of photos we’ve took:

What did you use to draw such bright lines without overexposing the background?
@djib: nothing fancy: we just used a cheap cellphone, that’s all ! To be honest I find the background too over-exposed compared to what I wanted in the first place: a total black background. By chance, the final result is not bad !
A cellphone is actually a very good idea. I have tried that with a torch and a lighter, but both didn’t give very good results…
