About

I’m Kevin Deldycke, a R&D software engineer and Free/Libre/Open-Source Software enthusiast. Here is my resumé, in French and not updated since 2007 (sorry, but actually I’ve much more interesting things to do ! ;) ).

This blog is a way to share all my open source contributions and experimentations, and any other stuffs related to computers. It’s also a kind of open notebook where I deposit tiny pieces of knowledge (= “knowledgelets” ?) and know-how I don’t bother keep in my memory to not clutter my mind with unnecessary details. But as those can be life-savers, it’s worth keeping a trace of them somewhere ! :)

I write everything in english, to make my knowledge available to the largest audience. As it’s not my mother tongue, you’ll surely find mistakes. If you do, please be kind enough to send me an email or a comment so I can fix it as soon as possible. I sometimes write posts in french if I think that the subject is much more relevant to a french-speaking audience or market.

Why coolkevmen ? It’s the nickname given by the Cool Cavemen band under which I appear in the All Cool Hits EP credits.
